Holistic CareWe work together to maximize comfort by reducing pain and addressing the body as a whole — physically, psychologically, socially and spiritually.
Your Life Plan
The quality of life is essential at all times – in particular for the terminally ill as they prepare for the final phase of life’s journey. At Emmanuel Hospice, our goal is to enhance the time that remains by caring for each person holistically. Together we’ll make a life plan to address your physical, spiritual and emotional needs.
Our focus on physical, psychological, social and spiritual health enables those with life-limiting conditions to live life to the fullest extent possible. Our specially trained staff offer the patient, family, friends and colleagues a range of activities to put the mind at ease during this transition including counseling, keeping a journal of the life story, massage therapy, music therapy, or companionship from trained volunteers.
Led by a medical director who is certified in hospice and palliative care medicine, our team of specialists embraces the hospice philosophy of comfort versus cure. The Emmanuel Hospice Medical Director works closely with you or your loved one’s primary care doctor to manage care. Our nurses make regular visits to the home or any other setting to provide care, support and address symptom management. Hospice Aides also visit routinely to offer personal care.
As a faith-based hospice, nurturing the spirit is a vital component of our philosophy of care. We are an interfaith organization, meaning we meet the spiritual needs of all individuals. If it’s important to you, it’s important to us. Our ministry guides our patients and their families in finding solace and strength through a peaceful life transition. We also continue to celebrate life, long after death. Click here to learn more about our grief support and grief support.

Still Have Questions?
"I tried to think of so many adjectives to describe how very meaningful your care for my sister meant to me and all of my family. What comes to mind is caring, compassionate, amazing, awesome, dedicated, and totally giving of self. I can't thank you enough for assisting and tending to her needs in her final days."
"My sister and I will always remember your support and extreme kindness to us in our mother's last days. We have no adequate words to tell you how meaningful it was. I'm sure my mother would have said the same. We will always remember you."
"We just wanted you to know how much our family appreciated everything you did during this difficult time. I can truly say all my children commented on your care and your special words. How you handle the patient and their family is just truly blessed."
"We as a family want to thank you for the wonderful care our mother received at the end of her life. Your staff was attentive and focused on keeping mom comfortable. As we sat at mom's bedside, we too felt cared for. The dying process was explained and our questions were answered. Thank you for your care!"
