We were out at 8th Avenue Park today with our patient William Rude, his daughter Erica Curry VanEe, along with a few Brookcrest residents, fulfilling his bucket list wish to go fishing again. Thank you to all the Sunset Retirement Communities & Services recreational therapists and to Katy, our volunteer, who helped make this patient wish a possibility!
When Williams’s daughter Erica, asked her dad if he was having fun his response was, “This is serious business.”
We were humbled and honored to be a part of such a special day for William and his family.
