COVID-19 presents challenges for all of us, but especially older individuals and those with chronic conditions. We practice social and physical distancing whenever possible, while still providing care wherever our patients call home. Our team is available 24/7, prepared and taking all necessary precautions to protect our staff, patients and the greater community:

  • Masks required while working with patients
  • All in-home clinicians screened daily
  • Strict restrictions on office visitors
  • Remote meetings and telehealth when possible
  • Protocols in place for symptomatic staff
  • Regular risk assessment for patients
  • Staff training for infection control and protective equipment
  • Continuous monitoring of best practices and protocols

If a patient or family member has traveled recently, we ask that you please make your case manager aware. If you have any questions or concerns about what we are doing as an organization regarding COVID-19, please feel free to call our office at 616.719.0919.

Caring Conversations During COVID-19

Our Executive Director, Sara Lowe, participated in Making Choices Michigan’s series, “Caring Conversations During Covid-19.” This video series is designed to inform and inspire the community to learn more about healthcare choices available during serious illness. Sara specifically discusses what hospice is and the role of hospice in times of crisis.
